After my D&C in February, my fertility doctor wanted to give my body a small break so we scheduled the next embryo transfer for the end of April.
I’ve been thinking about how I can make this story interesting or funny. I haven’t been able to come up with a single thing. Basically, we had the transfer – it was much like the last one (click here to read more about it). I had acupuncture before and after like the first time. We transferred another 2 embryos. But, when it came time to test, my Hcg was 0. They told me to stop medications and wait for my period.
Obviously, we were disappointed but after what happened last time, I was thankful it wasn’t another long drawn out process.
After another failed attempt, I decided to stop acupuncture. I know it is helpful for some and I 100% believe it can help women who have infertility issues get pregnant but for me, I couldn’t continue to justify the expense.

I started following you after I had my miscarriage because I felt like nobody would talk about things about things like this and I needed to know that it was possible to move forward after the loss of a baby. I’m so sad that it didn’t work out for you guys. Your blog has been such a blessing and a huge help to me!
